US Army Aviation Budget Analyst (Huntsville, AL)

 Requirements:

Position Description:


  • Provide comprehensive program analysis and budget administrative support for the PEO MS/PM SHIELD Operations Division.
  • Develop and staff all SHIELD/IFPC Inc 2 Memoranda, including but not limited to, Memorandum of Agreements (MOA), Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), Support Agreements (SA), and Statement of Capability (SOC)
  • Collaborate with senior analysts in researching, reviewing, and analyzing acquisition regulatory and statutory documents.
  • Support the preparation of guidance for program execution and accomplishment reports to senior leadership.
  • Manage and operate Project Management Resource Tools (PMRT) and Comprehensive Cost and Reporting System (CCaRS), including verifying transaction accuracy, adjusting data, and identifying errors.
  • Coordinate and prepare periodic acquisition reports, Army Program Budget Briefs, Historical Reports, Program Management Review Charts, and Congressional Inquiry responses for dissemination to PEO.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of acquisition reporting requirements, including Selected Acquisition Reporting (SAR), Monthly Acquisition Reporting (MAR), and Defense Acquisition Executive Summary (DAES).
  • Monitor and track IFPC Inc 2 documentation related to Major Capabilities Acquisition (MCA) and Middle Tier of Acquisition (MTA) decision points, ensuring timely completion of milestones such as Materiel Development Decision, Milestone A/B/C, and Full Rate Production.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and proper coordination of documentation, staffing, and approval processes.

  • Experience: 3 to 10 years
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office Toolset
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Must be very detailed oriented
  • Prior Army support experience is preferred
  • Prior Budget/Cost experience preferred


Position Description:


On-site SETA support managing budget of Army Aviation customer on Redstone Arsenal. No telework.
