Position Description: 


The Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Network Applications Team (NAT) Software Product Owner (PO) will work as a member of the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office (PO). The PO will be responsible for the prioritization and validation of the network application development and updates/patches for the Network Application Team (NAT). The position will include reviewing/ understanding Systems Engineering concepts/ designs/ algorithms and providing guidance to the development team. The PO will support the team in the development of acceptance criteria for network tasks and stories and be responsible for their verification. The product owner will also be responsible for working with the Cyber team to ensure a hardened cyber posture for the system network. The product owner will work with Program management in setting priorities for the capabilities and defects for the team for each product increment and sprint. The position will include technical briefings, demonstrations and advisement to leadership. The product owner will report on status; recommended courses of actions, competing capabilities, performance, risks, and impacts to the IFMC mission.

Position Description: 


  • Support a Product Office procuring weapon systems across all stages of the acquisition life cycle, including development, production, fielding, sustainment, and Foreign Military Sales (FMS).
  • Draft comprehensive Contract Requirements Packages (CRPs) for high-dollar weapon system development, production, sustainment, and engineering services contracts.
  • Prepare and staff Justification & Approvals (J&As), Acquisition Plans, Service Acquisition Strategies, Determinations & Findings (D&Fs), Functional Requirements Authentication Board (FRAB) documents, and FMS-specific documentation such as International Agreement Competitive Requirements (IACRs).
  • Apply extensive knowledge of the FAR, DFARS, SAMM, and FMS-specific regulations to ensure compliant and effective contract execution and administration.
  • Coordinate with contracting officers through formal and informal correspondence to resolve contract production and service issues, funding discrepancies, and Government Furnished Property matters, ensuring proper contract close-out.
  • Develop and coordinate acquisition documentation, including Letters of Offer and Acceptance Data (LOAD) requests, Statements of Work (SOWs), DD1423s, DD Form 254s, Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs), CLIN Structures, RSCAs, and property requirements.
  • Analyze Prime Contractor requests, coordinated stakeholder and international program responses, and prepared official contracting correspondence to support program objectives.
  • Contribute to the preparation of briefings, acquisition reviews, and program management reviews (PMRs), integrating Excel-based visuals to give clear insight into financial health and program outlook.

Position Description:


Candidate will be co-located with an Army Project Office providing Test Planning and Execution to an Army Test Team operating at Redstone Arsenal, AL for Air Defense System of Systems (SoS) testing. Candidate will support the Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office of the Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) in coordination and execution of test planning and documentation efforts.

The candidate will support the Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) development by preparing and coordinating all inputs to the TEMP. This will include reviewing current policy memos, preparing TEMP outlines and formatting, creating timelines and approval paths, sending out writing assignments, tracking and collating inputs, coordinating page by page reviews and comment adjudication, and preparing for the final signature process. Candidate will participate in other PEO organizations’ TEMP activities by providing inputs and supporting their review processes.


The candidate will support requests to update a Simplified Acquisition Management Plan (SAMP) by providing T&E information for inclusion, participating in review meetings, and coordinating and adjudicating comments from other Army organizations and OSD. The candidate will develop, in conjunction with System Engineering, baseline Developmental Evaluation Frameworks (DEF) and update as necessary for Sensor, Launcher, and Network Interfaces, creating stand-alone documents to articulate a logical test and evaluation strategy that informs decisions.
